The Bathurst 24 hr has just finished here in Australia with the Holden Monaro cV8s getting a 1 & 2 over a 40 car field consisting of not the strongest field to ever been put on a grid. These purpose bred for Bathurst Monaro’s held 1 & 2 for pretty much the whole race and in doing so gave Aus legend Peter Brock his much sought after 10th Bathurst. In short, this race is only in its second year but is expected and hoped to become one of the big endurance races. Mosler MT 900 R driven by Martin Shaw got the fastest lap 2.15 until the last lap where Tander in a Monaro nabbed a 14
