I'll start off with an easy one.
guess the year and recieve two bonus points.
oh yeah no cheating
well you can cheat after you post your answer
I'll try Patrick Depailler
The Williams is ca. 1992, Damon Hill I'd assume. He used to be a test driver then and I think that's the reason why there are no numbers on the car.
The Brabham in the lower picture never existed and is a fake I'd say. It is the 1986 ultra-flat model altered into an 8-wheeler.
6-wheelers were already banned for good in 1983, dunno if 8-wheelers where a loophole but since Bernie was in charge of Brabham till 1987 I severely doubt he would have approved of this project. Williams had built a car with 4 rear tyres in 1982, but it wasn't used in any F1 race. Iirc the only other car ever built with 4 rear tyres was a March prototype in 1977, also wasn't used in racing.
are you sure its hill, his helmet is different, and i cant see his dark hate filled eyes, dont think its him
Its definitely 1992..but Damon Hill used the rowing club helmet even in his motorcycle days...
could it be gil de ferran..didnt he do a test for williams too ?
[QUOTE]The Brabham in the lower picture never existed and is a fake
your right about the brabham Purolator
i found it on the web somewhere thought it looked funny.
i dont know who's driving that i just put in my signature slot for a laugh
The driver in the Williams is Al Unser jr. in 1991 (in the fall testing i think)
Frank said Al smoked too much.
A little awkward with no colour
It's Hakkinnen. Looks like he's testing one of the last turbo Bennettons.
Yes its the Hakk.
I was surprised to see him in the Benneton.
I'm getting rid of this signature i hate seeing the same pic over and over
can we upload pics instead of linking them?
Its a Tyrrell with Renault turbo engine.Circa 1986.At the time it enjoyed sponsorship from Courtalds and Data General (the circle ).
The driver is Brundle
Correct ET!
That Heidfeld testing the Mac?
Close. You got the 'feld' bit right
Meh, it's early, and I'm supposed to be studying for my 2pm exam.
Stumped on this one scar. It must be an Alfa, at that time frame they occupied cars 22 and 23, but I dont know of any Alfa lookin like that. Oh well, since I suck at researching.......this ones out there for me...
I think its an Osella FA1G..around 1986-
an easy one ..also name the two cars in the background.
Phil Hill in the Sharknose Ferrari 156 -got to be 1961 Monaco.
The other 2 cars...hmm...Bonnier and Gurney in their Porsches?
You right Troll Osella 1986
Its Allen Berg from Calgary the only non villeneuve canadian driver to compete in F1
The livery on the Jaguar seems to be a 2001 R2..dunno who the driver is..cant find the helmet pic anywhere..
Speaking of helmets....What usually happens to them? Charity auction, collectors, personal keepsakes for driver & family I suppose. But I bet they bring some huge sums at auction. Anybody know?..
Its from when Tomas Scheckter was Jaguar test driver. His helmet has the south African tricolours on the side and a checkered design on the top.
Right ET
another one..
I'll go with: 1993 Footwork FA13B...Mugen-Honda..possibly it's Derik Warwick driving..
Berg was not the only non-Villenueve Canadian to drive in f1
check your f1 rejects site for more
Remember Ikcx or Scheckter drove a Canadian team Wolf car, so Canadians have been around the f1 arena many times
Name another canuck that raced in F1?
I dont know of any

Ah...nice one.
1.Walter Wolf Racing so its the Wolf Cosworth car.
2.Jody Schecker raced and won in # 20 so it cant be him.
3.In 1978,last 2 races Wolf also ran another car with Bobby Rahal as # 21.
4.Its either the Watkins Glen race or the Montreal one.
In other words..
Bobby Rahal -Wolf Cosworth,1978 either WG or Montreal.
Is it de Ferran testing the Footwork?
based on Armcos I'd say the Glen
Yeah youre probably right JRHarv.
Bobby rahal in the Wolf at the Glen is correct and Gil de ferran in the Footwork
he also tested the Willi

Zapico is correct --at the Spanish Gp 1976.He failed to qualify in the Mapfre-Williams FW04.
max biaggi

1989
Portugal Grand Prix.
Saturday practice.
Moreno collides with Cheever.
Wasn’t there another Irish driver Donally?? he drove for Lotus and the only real thing I can remember was him having a massive off at Monza and getting separated from the car and lying at the exit of the parabolica strapped to his car seat? By the way this is from a list on page 2-3?
pete
You mean Martin Donnelly, jcreator? Yes, he had a gruesome accident, suffering from multiple fractures, but it wasn't Monza, happened in Jerez. Iirc he's from Northern Ireland.

Here's a pic of the Donnelly crash.
Woah!!!
